I went to Baltimore Comic Con today and it was fun! I mostly lingered in the artist alley, at first feeling awkward because I'm not very social and everyone was trying to be friendly with me. I ended up getting three commissions while I was there

I gotta say, the Rob makes me really wanna jump in drawing the epic guys again.
I was afraid I would end up bored after awhile because I am not into many comics, but I ended up having fun the full day. I didn't take any pictures because I am too shy to ask lol. Although, I wish I had asked a certain Wonder Woman
I really don't know what else to say...but I wanted to share what I got drawn for me!

2023 end
Personally, this was a fairly lack luster year for me. I still did a decent amount of art and had fun but my feelings from my May journal post haven't changed much. I am still sketching quite often so I do count that as a win. As far as what I actually did this year, I did a decent amount of fanart (for my usual doing anyways). I did a few commissions but no art trades at all this year I think. I did Drawtober which is really what I've been doing this whole time, just whatever I want with an optional daily prompt and no real rules besides just doing something every day. It was actually pretty fun and probably the highlight for art this year for me. It got me out of an art slump and I got to do a couple more fanart pieces as well as give a lot of OCs some love. I also tried doing an ask series for the first time which was pretty fun. Unfortunately, I didn't do much in the writing department either. I only finished one story idea and it was fairly short. I had a couple other fun ideas

Almost at the half way mark of the year. So far, this year has been fairly bleh when it comes to art. It started well but now I'm just left feeling a bit empty about it in general. I feel stuck in 2020, not really moving anywhere and I've reached the point where both my colored work and sketches are boring to look at. During times I have done a lot it can even be tedious to share, which is disappointing because I've actually sketched A LOT this year. I'm not sure its really helping though. I've been having trouble with drive and motivation. During the beginning of the year, I tried to take a more relaxed approach. I didn't have the minimum 10 colored pictures goal a month that I did last year. At first, it felt nice. I was sketching a lot more and my hobby felt less like a job. But, compared to my counterparts, I feel like I have fallen behind. As I've said, I find everything I do (outside some character interaction doodles) boring. When I try to push myself, I just get terrible
